Following a successful career in both amateur and professional golf, Christine soon realised that what she really enjoyed was the banter with her Pro-am partners and helping them enjoy their golf. This lead to the formation of her own company which she successfully ran for fifteen years before joining forces with Mickey in 2000 to form Mickey Walker Management Limited.
Christine's knowledge and considerable experience of golf at all levels, her administration skills, attention to detail and sense of humour no matter what the situation mean that she is the ideal person to organise Golf Days whatever the client’s requirements.
Following an exceptional amateur career, Mickey turned professional and competed on the LPGA Tour in the USA for seven years before returning to play on the newly formed Women’s Professional Golf Association in Britain and Europe winning six times.
After Captaining Europe to victory in the 1992 Solheim Cup, Mickey was awarded the OBE for services to golf. In addition Mickey commentates for Sky television, is the consulting editor for Lady Golfer magazine and in 2008 was one of only three women in the UK to be awarded PGA Master Professional status.
Mickey’s achievements within golf provide her with a unique insight into the needs of companies to use golf as a vehicle to entertain clients and promote their company.
Having met Jane for the first time on 2003 on a golf related holiday in Chile, both Christine and myself immediately felt a rapport with her.
Jane's working background in administration, specifically within the fields of business and charity, coupled with her enthusiasm and knowledge of golf – Jane is a single figure handicapper, made her the ideal person to join our team.
